The Virginia Department of Highways was rebuilding part of Spicers Mill Road in the Spring of 1963. This picture appeared in the April 25,1963 issue of the Orange Review.
With tree growth, this view is not possible today.
The WJMA building is visible in the upper right of the picture. It has a white end and is just above the road grader cab.
