The "Class of '73". These four (Clint Estes, Andy Lax, Russ Roberts and Bob Wade) were all in the Orange County High School Class of 1973. All four started as part-time announcers.
Andy Lax left in 1973, but the others continued to work for WJMA. Both Russ and Bob (aka JD Slade in later years) were eventually full-time employees. Although Clint was never full time he may have worked for WJMA longer than almost anyone. He did his final Orange High School football game in 2003.
