Don Heyne, owner of WINA AM/FM in Charlottesville. He merged the operation of WINA and WJMA in May of 1957 and operated at both locations until he sold WJMA to Arch Harrison in April of 1961.
Heyne is responsible for moving WJMA from its original location at the DeVivi Restaurant to its present location on Spicers Mill Road. That move happened in late 1959 or early 1960. At the time of the move, he also increased WJMA's daytime power from 250 watts to 1,000 watts.
