Jerry Hooper (center) stopped in Barboursville to visit family on his way from his home on Sakhalin Island north of Japan to Aberdeen, Scotland. He is a logistics specialist for Midglen Logistics Sakhalin. He was on his way to Europe to supervise loading under-sea oil well equipment for shipment to Korea.
Ross Hunter (left) and Russ Roberts (right) came by to visit. Jerry worked for WJMA as a weekend announcer from 1970 to 1973.
