The picture was taken at the DeVivi Club on January 14, 1952 at the Junior Chamber of Commerce Charter night. Livick was the JayCee's first president. Mullendore, a speech professor at UVa and state president of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, was the Charter Night speaker.
