University of Virginia speech professor and president of the Virginia State Junior Chamber of Commerce James M. Mullendore presents WJMA GM Art Livick with the charter for the Orange County Chapter of the Junior Chamber of Commerce, later known as the JCs. Livick was the group's first president when it was formed in 1952.
According to a January 17, 1952 article in the Orange Review, the event was held at the DeVivi Club and was attended by a virtual who's who of Orange County notables. Anne Livick is at the right.
Note the WJMA banner on the microphone. It's likely that the event was broadcast on WJMA which was in the same building.
