"The Guitar Contest of the Century" was a August 19, 1971 contest between Bill Little and Ted Carroll to determine who was the better guitar player. The newspaper photo caption says Bill phoned in to say he had an appointment in Nashville. Ted was declared the winner.The young ladies were part of Ted's cheering section. They are (front to back nearest the camera) Lynn (Jones) Rogers, Marion Gardner. WJMA receptionist/bookkeeper Pat Watson is coming in the door.
