"The Guitar Contest of the Century" was a August 19, 1971 contest between Bill Little and Ted Carroll to determine who was the better guitar player. Hugh Darnell, Ted's "manager" is on the left. Ted Carroll is out of the picture on the far left. Just his guitar is showing. On the right is Bob Gregg, Bill Little's "manager". You might wonder "Where is Bill?" The newspaper-photo caption says Bill phoned in to say he had an appointment in Nashville. Ted was declared the winner.
