The clock on the wall says a few minutes after noon and Arch Harrison has just begun the noon news. There's a calendar on the wall under the clock, but the month is not readable. This picture is likely from June 8, 1972
Arch usually anchored the noon news consisting of world & national news, Virginia & local news and his signature "Postscript to the News"
which was often a commentary on a local person or event. Until Chet Burgess joined the staff in 1973 as a fulltime news director, the majority of the news came from the Associated Press teletype
Arch is in Studio A. This picture was taken from the Control Room.
