Al Gaige had a small part in season 3 of House of Cards. Here's Al's telling of how he got the part. “Last year, my oldest grandchild was working on an independent film. Lamont Easter was on the set...he had played a secret service agent on Season Two of House of Cards. He mentioned that they were having an open casting call that week. I went...along with thousands of others...and actually had a few minutes with a casting director. Five months later I got a call to come in to play a Russian Guard. It was really, really fun and the coolest experience seeing the way they put the whole thing together. I'm only on camera for a few seconds...opening the door to a prison cell and looking like an out of place Waldo while chaos ensues.”
Watch for him in season 3, episode 6, about 40 minutes in.
