Art Livick (left), Charlie McGinley (center), and an unknown person are on their way to the American Silk Mill office to record something...perhaps a commercial? Livick is carrying a "portable" tape recorder. It appears he has a script in his right hand. Livick was the WJMA Station Manger and McGinley was the Assistant Manager. This picture was probably taken in the first half of 1950.
They are facing North. Madison Road is to the left. The white building behind them is no longer there. It is the current location of Crown Auto. Subway is around the corner to the left behind them.
